June Page Text
June brings the start of full summer in the northern hemisphere — and it’s one of the best times to travel before peak season prices and crowds hit. Europe is warm, the Med is swimmable, and long-haul destinations offer good value as they enter their off-seasons. It's a versatile month for coastlines, cities and wild landscapes.
Select June from the menu. Filter by temperature (warm or hot), pick your region and trip style — whether it’s nature, culture, or coast.
Europe heats up fast in June, but the high-season chaos hasn’t hit yet. Asia's monsoon begins in some regions (avoid Thailand’s Gulf side), but Bali and Vietnam remain popular. Long-haul flights are still lower-cost compared to July–August.
Where is best in Europe for June sun? Italy, Greece, Portugal and Croatia are all great bets.
Is Bali good in June? Yes — dry, hot, and ideal for beach days and yoga retreats.
Where to avoid in June? Gulf Thailand (e.g. Koh Samui) can be rainy; check each region carefully.
Our map uses ten-year climate averages (2014–2024) to show typical conditions. It’s not a live forecast. Check current advisories before travelling.
